Getting Started

What is My Local Connector?

My Local Connector is a shared-cost local advertising program with two reach options. Community Connector is the 9×12 Full Reach edition for approximately 5,000 households. Community Spotlight is the 6×11 Focused Reach edition for approximately 2,500 households.

What sizes are available?

Community Connector is 9×12 inches. Community Spotlight is 6×11 inches. Both are designed for direct-mail visibility, with the larger format providing more room and the smaller format providing a lower-cost focused option.

How many businesses appear on each flyer?

A standard local edition contains 16 advertising positions, generally eight on Side A and eight on Side B. Some businesses may reserve adjoining positions to create a larger advertisement.

How do I reserve an advertising position?

Open the advertising-slots page for your market, select one or more available positions, choose your industry, provide your basic business information, and complete the payment option displayed for that edition. Full Reach offers a deposit or full-payment choice. Focused Reach is paid in full at $250 per position.

Can I reserve more than one slot?

Yes. You may select multiple available positions. When adjoining slots are selected, the page outlines the combined area so you can see the approximate size of the larger advertisement.

What happens after I reserve?

Your selected positions are removed from public availability. We then collect your logo, offer, photographs, website, QR-code destination, and other marketing details before preparing your advertisement proof.

Pricing and Payments

What does one advertising position cost?

Community Connector Full Reach is $500 per position. Community Spotlight Focused Reach is $250 per position. The reservation page always displays the current campaign price before checkout.

How do payments work?

Community Connector Full Reach may be reserved with a $200 deposit toward the $500 first-edition price, or paid in full. Community Spotlight Focused Reach is $250 paid in full when the position is reserved. The three-business-day remaining-balance deadline applies only when the Full Reach deposit option is selected.

Can I pay in full when I reserve?

Yes. Full Reach may be paid in full at $500 instead of using the $200 deposit option. Focused Reach is always paid in full at $250 per position.

When is a first-edition payment refundable?

A qualifying first-edition payment may be refunded if My Local Connector fails to place the applicable flyer into bulk printing and mailing production within 60 calendar days, subject to the full Terms and Conditions. Once the category is locked and design work begins, payments are generally nonrefundable.

Design, Printing and Mailing

Do I need to design my own advertisement?

No. We are happy to design your business position, and our design team is top notch. Send us your logo, images, offer, contact information, website, and any required disclaimers. We will create the advertisement and send you a proof for review. If you already have your own design, send it to us and we will review it for sizing and print quality.

What types of files can I submit?

The Contact page accepts common logo, image, PDF, Word, and ZIP files. High-resolution logos and photographs produce the best printed results.

Can I purchase a full-page advertisement?

Yes, when a full-page edition is available. Please contact us directly so we can discuss the market, mailing area, timing, and provide massive package discounts compared with purchasing the individual advertising positions separately.

Where is the flyer mailed?

Each campaign page displays its current target areas, ZIP-code zones, and approximate mailing coverage. Those areas can change by edition, so review the map and campaign details before reserving.

Does every household receive the flyer on the same day?

No. Printing and postal delivery schedules vary. “Sent out” means the campaign has been ordered for bulk printing and mailing, not that every household receives it on a particular date.

Do you guarantee calls or sales?

No advertising company can honestly guarantee results. Response depends on your offer, pricing, reputation, seasonality, website, phone handling, and follow-up. We provide the agreed placement, production, and distribution effort.

Exclusivity, Markets and Future Editions

How does industry exclusivity work?

Each approved industry is limited to one participating business per local market. Once your category is secured and your account remains active and current, we will not knowingly sell that category to a direct competitor in the same edition.

What if my industry is not listed?

Choose “Other” on the reservation form and enter your business category. My Local Connector will review the category and determine whether it conflicts with an existing advertiser.

Can I advertise in more than one market?

Yes. Each market operates as a separate campaign with its own 16 positions, mailing zones, and category locks. A business may secure the same industry in multiple markets when it is available.

Am I automatically enrolled in future editions?

No. Your purchase covers the market and edition shown in your order. Future editions are optional and require your separate approval through a new checkout, invoice, written approval, or separate agreement.

What if the market I want is still Coming Soon?

Use the Available Markets page or Contact page to register your interest. This helps us identify which areas have enough advertiser demand to open next.
